When one air flow measurement has been completed, you will be prompted to move the sensor to
the next position. Once in position, press
OK
to take the measurement. As each air velocity
measurement is taken, it is compared to the maximum air velocity allowed by the standard, 0.35
m/s. If the air velocity is less than 0.35 m/s the program will indicate a
PASS , otherwise it will
indicate a
FAIL
.
When all four measurements have been acquired, the test
Results
screen will be displayed,
summarizing the test, as per Figure 52. At this point the options are: going forward to the
Next
Test
,
Repeat
the test, or to
Cancel All Tests
. As previously discussed,
Repeat
would be used
if corrections could be made to the test setup to improve the results.
Next Test
is used to continue
on with the Autosequence, and
Cancel All Tests
is used if it is decided to abort the remainder of
the Autosequence.
NOTE: the Air Flow Sensor uses a large amount of current relative to the other
components, and may significantly reduce battery life if used for prolonged periods
of time.
