If the option to
Save Picture to JPG Afer Test
has been enabled in the
System Settings
, the
Result will include a filename of the JPG image of the temperature versus time graph. This
filename will be included in the test report for reference.
5.6 Cold Ambient Temperature at 36 °C
The standard states that following changes in ambient temperature, a the Transport Incubator
Temperature must not differ from the Control Temperature by more than 3°C. To be able to verify
this, the ambient temperature must be in the range 21°C to 25°C and the incubator is heated up to
36°C. Once STC has been reached, the external power source is disconnected and the incubator is
moved to an environment where the ambient temperature is in the range -5°C (±2°C )
and
the
wind
velocity
is not more than 1 m/s. After 15 minutes, the incubator is return to the original
environment (ambient temp 20°C to 25°C ), external power source reconnected and the incubator
run for a further 30 minutes. The Incubator Temperature must not vary by more than 3°C
throughout this test.
