Setting recording with an entry in the database

¾

To use the database, select the entry On in the Database Usage

field.

However, it must be noted that a recording with the database
requires a great deal of storage space. Especially with continuous
recording, the resulting data quantity is very large and can lead to
a reduction of the recording speed.

NOTE

If the SmartFinder is to be activated for a camera,
recording with database is mandatory.

If the SmartFinder (SF) is activated for a camera,
the database is automatically set to On.

Changing camera names

Each camera is given the number of the respective video connection.
For a unique assignment to the monitoring area of the cameras,
the numbers can be replaced by clear, identifying names.
