NOTE
Please note that an additional power supply is
required when connecting more than 4 DNIs or
with bus lengths over 150 m.
Two pan/tilt heads are connected in the example shown. You can,
however, connect up to a maximum of 24 slave DNIs and thus 24
pan/tilt heads. The smallest DNI network consists of a master and
one slave. The DNIs identified as the slaves are available with an
RS 232 or RS 422/85 connection and must conform with the
interface technology of the dome camera.
18.2 Setting function of serial interface
To set up the Camera control function, you must first set the
corresponding function at the serial interface.
You access the dialog via:
Setup > Interfaces > Serial

First connect the interface to
which the master DNI is
connected (A).

Then select the DNI (Cam
Control) entry (B) in the
Function field.
¾
Once you have confirmed
your selection by clicking
OK, the Camera Control
button in the Interfaces in-/
output dialog is activated.
