10.2.2 Using the standard track for alarms

The standard tracks are linked to the alarm input on the DMS/
DLS. It is only possible to save the pre- and post-alarm phases
with this track type.

NOTE

The contact at Contact IN must be regarded as
the alarm in this case (default setting Global 6).
This collective alarm is not to be confused with
the contacts for individual cameras for Save and
Event.

The frame rate can be set separately for pre- and post-alarm periods.
For the following example, specifications like those required by the
UVV (Accident Prevention Regulations) for systems in banks were
selected. Without an alarm, 15 minutes are to be recorded at 1
picture per second. With an alarm, the frame rate is to be 2 pictures
per second and the recording duration 15 minutes as well. Recording
occurs continuously for pre- and post-alarm.

The appropriate required frame rate (recording interval) is set in
the Cameras sub-dialog.
