account and is displayed in
the Exceptions list.

Once you have made the desired settings for all tracks in question,
click the OK button to accept and activate them. If you click
Cancel, your settings will not be accepted.
10.8 VdS emergency track
If the DMS/DLS is installed as a VdS-compliant system, the so-
called VdS emergency track will also be available. This is used to
backup the current recording in the event of an error occurring. If
the DMS/DLS cannot save the current recording in a specific track
(for example due to a hard disc drive failure) the pictures will be
saved to the emergency track instead.
The emergency track is created when the device is installed, whilst
the required storage space (230,000 pictures) is fixed and cannot
be changed,

The emergency track is configured in the dialog headed
Configuration of emergency tracks. This can be opened from
the Tracks dialog by clicking on Emergency tracks.
