The setting in the Timer
dialog is made as described
previously under Timer/
Week timer. Save your
setting by clicking OK.
The timer is only active,
however, if the checkbox next to
Timer active is activated during
normal operation. If it is not
activated, the messages are
sent regardless of the timer
setting.
Alarm host check
The alarm host check makes it possible to send a test message to
the selected alarm host.
This message is designed to check
the connection between the
recorder and the alarm host. The
successful transfer can only be
checked on the alarm host,
however. The DMS/DLS does not
receive a response to this message.
There are three methods for setting the send time:
1. Activate the Interval radio button to send the message at certain
intervals.
2. Activate the Point in time radio button to send the message at
a specific time.
3. Click on Send test-message if you wish to send a one-off
message. In the pull-down menu you can decide when this
message should be sent within a timeframe of 10 minutes.
