The relays (A), DIP switches SW5 (B) and contact strip X12 (C)
are found on the I/O PCB of the recorder.
You must solder the R1 resistor (Fig. 5-11) into contact strip X12.
The contacts to be used depend on the relay used for quiescent-
current monitoring.
If you use relay 1, the R1 resistor must be soldered at contact 1
(Fig. 5-10).
The X12 contact strip should be separated from the base and not
attached to the base again until R1 has been soldered in.
IMPORTANT
Solder remains can cause a short-circuit and
subsequent failure of the system.
