In the eighth picture (B 8), recording rate 1 picture per second, an
event is detected, and the position of the changes are saved in the
SmartFinder database.
On track 2 (same camera as track 1), a picture is only saved once
every 6 seconds.
With the validity period T1, intermediate saving of the positions of
the event on track 1 also ends. The picture on track 2 is not saved
with the positions of the event on track 1 after time T1. Thus
SmartFinder cannot see a relation between tracks 1 and 2.
For the next picture of track 2 to be saved with the positions of the
event after the event (track 1), the validity period (i.e. the duration
of intermediate saving of positions) must be extended (T2).
With picture searching via SmartFinder, a relation between both
tracks and pictures is thus recognized.
The same result is achieved if the validity period is retained, but
the recording rate on track 2 is increased. The picture recorded on
track 2 after the event is still within the validity period (intermediate
storage) and is thus saved with the positions of the event.
The disadvantage here, however, is that the number of pictures on
track 2 must be increased or the total recording time on track 2
must be reduced.
