15.1.3 PSTN (Modem)
PSTN stands for "Public Switched Telephone Network". In contrast
to ISDN, these settings are required for analog access to the
recording system via modem.
To make the setting for PSTN, a serial interface must first be
assigned the Modem function.
For this purpose, click:
Setup > Interfaces > Serial

In the setting menu of the serial interfaces, select the interface
(COM 1 or COM 2) to which you have connected your modem.
Then select the MODEM function.
If you have select MODEM for COM 1, this function is automatically
disabled under COM 2. The MODEM selection can only be made
for one interface.

Confirm your setting by clicking OK.
With the initial configuration of PSTN, the setting menu appears
immediately for PSTN (see Fig. 15-9).
