1 Contact IN
Five 8-pin Vago pin strips are available for contact-controlled
recording and recording by individual cameras. Both outer
contacts of the pin strips are grounded.
1/1 Recording by individual cameras is controlled with the camera
contacts (see Chap. Contact IN and Interfaces).
1/2 The six global contacts can be configured as desired (see Chap.
Contact IN).
IMPORTANT
Damage can be caused to the DMS/DLS!
Detach all connections to the contact IN before
updating
the software. See
Chapter Service.
2 Contact OUT
The output contacts are zero-voltage and are made available
from the outside via a 10-pin Vago pin strip (see Chap. Contact
OUT).
The five relay outputs can be configured and are used to control
external devices.
3 Video inputs C1 through C24
The 24 video inputs of the DMS 180 III and DLS 24 S1 are
BNC jacks labeled C1 through C24. Termination of the video
inputs can be activated and deactivated individually via the
software.
The looping through output can be implemented with a BNC
distributor (e.g. T-piece) for the DMS/DLS.
For systems with only 18 inputs, the video inputs with a light
background in the diagram (Fig. 5-1) are not connected.
