20 HDD management

On recording systems with several internal and/or external storage
media (hard disk, CD etc.), the individual drives can be assigned
either the function for current recording (Rec) or for a backup (Bac).

¾

Click:

Setup > Recording > HDD Management

You can assign the desired function to the corresponding drive in
the Harddisk Management dialog via a checkmark.

In the example, the IDE drive is set for recording (Rec) and the CD
drive (CD burner) for backups. It is not possible to use one drive
for both functions. The total storage space available for recording
is 216.2 GB in the example.
