Function Description
Quit recording pause This function starts / activates each recording that was
(all recording modes) stopped by Pause recording (all recording modes).
The recording mode of the camera does not play a role for this
function. However, attention must be paid to the fact that a
recording may not occur immediately with recording modes
Contact or Motion detection.
Which camera is relevant is defined in the Contact Parameter
dialog.
Sequencer Contact Displays a camera’s view on the monitor output, regardless of
any current recording.
Camera Start Starts recording via a contact for individual camera.
Camera Stop Stops recording via a contact for individual camera.
Live-display camera Display of the images of a camera in the 1x1 split. The images
are also displayed if a display sequence is defined (via Setup
> System > Display > Monitors > Sequencer) and active.
The duration of the display of that camera depends on the
switching speed, which is set under Setup > System >
Display > Monitors > Sequencer . This means that a
camera is displayed until a switching is triggered manually or
by the sequencer.
Which camera is relevant is defined in the Contact
Parameter dialog. Every activated camera can be selected. It
does not matter if the camera is connected or configured for
recording.
Disable remote access This contact function breaks all active connections of
(LAN, ISDN, Modem) applications or users that do not have the right Network
access with contact. New connection requests are rejected.
This has no impact on users defined as administrators. This
user group has always all rights.
Enable remote access Abolishes the restrictions caused by the Disable remote
(LAN, ISDN, modem) access (LAN, ISDN, modem).
Activate Sensor If a sensor channel has been deactivated using the Deactivate
Sensor function, it will normally reactivated automatically after
the elapse of 300 seconds. The Activate Sensor function
allows the contact-controlled activation of the channel before
300 seconds have elapsed.
Deactivate Sensor If an SK-6 sensor card is intsalled in the recorder (for example
in the DVS 600), all sensor channels are activated as standard.
This function can be used to deactivate one or more sensor
channels using Configuration. The channels are reactivated
automatically after elapse of 300 seconds.
