Chapter 20: Brooder operation

Status

Displays the current status of each brooder (Off, On, On low, On high, On variable, trouble,
manual bypass)

Start high/low

Displays the start temperature of the brooder (in case of high/low brooders, start tempera-
tures of high and low are displayed)

Stop

Displays the temperature at which the brooder stops

T

Displays the current temperature of the temperature probes associated to the brooder

Run 24h low/
high

Displays the amount of time the brooder has run (in high fire and low fire in case of a high-low
brooder) for the past 24 hours

Control probes

Displays the name of the sensors associated to the selected brooder by the name they were
given during configuration

Actual T

Displays the temperature of each sensor associated to the selected brooder

Start T

Indicates the start temperature of the selected brooder. Value displayed here is the same as
the value displayed in the table

+ and – offset

Displays the temporary offset to the heater's start temperature entered by the user. Use the +
and - buttons to change the value in 0.1° increments. Select the offset value to enter an offset
value by hand.

Hot start

Displays the start offset of the corresponding brooder. It can be adjusted or corrected here
temporarily

Correction time
countdown

Indicates how much time the correction will remain active

Max

Maximum amperage draw. Any value above this causes a high amperage trouble

Min

Minimum amperage draw. Any value below this causes a low amperage trouble
