Chapter 12: Ventilation operation

Relative humidity compensation in Power ventilation

In Power ventilation, a ventilation increase is applied to current minimum ventilation air volume in the
operation ventilation page. Since the air volume can come from a curve, the effect of relative humidity
compensation may vary in time. When Power ventilation is used, relative humidity compensation is
always applied only to Power ventilation. When relative humidity is higher than the set point and compen-
sation is used, calculated minimum ventilation air volume is multiplied by 1 + % compensation. The CFM
result from this equation is then given by the system as if you would have manually increased the mini-
mum ventilation but with a slight difference: the start, stop and max temperature are not recalculated.
