Appendix R: EDGE Main Controller end of life disassembly instructions

from BASE ASSEMBLED, EDGE Main Controller:

PCB-417 (EDGE COMM ALARM, 300-00337), item 2

PCB-416 (EDGE MPUB, 300-00332), item 4

3. Unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver #1 and remove the screws
(item 3) from the PCBs

4. Remove the PCBs from the EDGE Main Controller

Remove LCD

Cables are unplugged

1. Unlock and open the enclosure cover (TOP ASSEMBLED, EDGE
Main Controller)

2. After removing the SHIELD, unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver
#1 and remove the screws (item 6) from the ALUMINIUM BRACKET
(items 5 and 8).

3. Remove the ALUMINIUM BRACKET and the LCD GRAPHC from
TOP ASSEMBLED, EDGE Main Controller.

4. Unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver #1 and remove the screws
(item 4) from the ALUMINIUM BRACKET (items 5 and 8) and the
LCD GRAPHC (item 3).

Recycle plastic

1. Unlock and open the enclosure cover (TOP ASSEMBLED, EDGE
Main Controller)

2. From TOP ASSEMBLED, EDGE Main Controller, remove the LCD
GASKET, item 2

3. Keep only plastic parts

4. Recycle the plastic enclosure and the plastic parts.
