Chapter 10: House/barn setup

Egg room setup

Egg room contain egg humidifiers and egg coolers.

Egg humidifier setup

Navigate to the setup menu

and select the egg humidifier on the left hand side. With the Room setup

radio button selected, the following information is displayed:

Control mode —

The control mode is displayed as a read only and a reminder of a fixed offset on set

point

Stop offset —

The percentage number over which the egg humidifier stops

Start offset —

The percentage number under which the egg humidifier starts

Room humidity set point —

The relative humidity set point is displayed here as read only. It can be

modified in the relative humidity setup page

Egg cooler setup

Navigate to the setup menu

and select the egg cooler on the left hand side. With the Room setup

radio button selected, the following information is displayed:

Control mode —

The control mode is displayed as a read only and a reminder of a fixed offset on set

point.

Start temperature offset —

The number of degrees over which the egg cooler starts

Stop temperature offset —

The number of degrees under which the egg cooler stops

Room temperature set point —

The temperature set point is displayed here as read only. It can be

modified in the room temperature setup page

Light setup

For the light setup page to be available to setup in a barn, you must first configure them in the equipment
page. Before completing light setup, you must have created light schedules and programs with standard
start/stop/run schedules.

1. To setup lights, navigate to the setup page

, and then select

Lights

from the left hand side of the

screen.

2. Select the

Operational mode

: Program or Schedule.

3. Select the program or schedule from the drop down list.
