Test mode

Topics Covered in this Chapter

Test mode

The test mode is used to simulate temperature changes and to verify the controller performances. During
the test, the inside temperature probe inputs are turned off, allowing you to change the temperature and
other parameters. The controller operates as before using the new settings. When the house/barn tem-
perature is defined by the test mode, the controller bypasses the temperature probe inputs and uses the
new value as a reference.

Test mode can by accessed through the operation page by clicking on the drop down button on the left

hand side of the house/barn name

and selecting

Enter Test mode

is then dis-

played in the upper right hand corner of the house/barn tile for as long as test mode is being used. To
enter your values to be used during testing, click on the test mode icon in the house/barn page, and a test
widget is displayed in the EDGE board:
