Upper Limit

Lower Limit

5.  Visually inspect the oil level. Make sure the 

oil level is between the upper and lower 
limits. If it is below the lower limit, add oil.

6.  Visually inspect the condition of oil. If it is too 

dirty or viscosity is not normal, change oil.

7.  Put the dipstick back in place.
8.  Close the engine hood.

Oil Filler Cap

Filling

1.  Open the engine hood.

2.  Remove the oil filler cap.

3.  Fill specified amount of correct oil into the 

filler.

4.  Check the oil level. Make sure the oil level is 

between the upper and lower limits.

5.  Put the oil filler cap back in place.

6.  Close the engine hood.

Changing

1.  Have an appropriate oil drain pan.
2.  Open the engine hood.

3.  Remove the oil filler cap.

4.  Remove the drain plug to drain oil.
5.  Put the drain plug back in place.
6.  Fill oil.
7.  Check the oil level and make sure the  oil 

level is appropriate.

8.  Put the oil filler cap back in place.

9.  Close the engine hood.

1.  Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Open the engine hood.
3.  Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean.
4.  Insert the dipstick fully and pull it out.
