Replace the aerosol filters

Introduction

There are two aerosol filters located on the sides of the printhead carriage. The operator panel
gives a warning when you must replace the aerosol filters.

Replace the aerosol filters

Before you begin

Use Colorado M-series prescribed:
• Microflex gloves for handling ink
• Aerosol filters

NOTE

For information on the prescribed maintenance materials, see

List of Colorado M-series

maintenance materials on page 247

CAUTION

Wear the prescribed gloves when contact with ink or maintenance materials is possible. Gloves

should always overlap sleeves. Follow the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines carefully in

order to ensure maximum safety.

Procedure

1.

On the operator panel tap on the [Tools] icon on the right.

2.

Tap on [ Aerosol filters].

3.

Tap on [Replace] and read the instructions.

4.

Put on the Colorado M-series approved gloves.

5.

Open the top cover of the printer.

Replace the aerosol filters
