13. Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several

times until the tablet is dissolved.

14. Add

one DPD No. 1 tablet

and

one DPD No. 3 tablet

straight from the foil into the first cleanedvial and crush
the tablets using a clean stirring rod.

15.

Transfer the contents of the second vial (Glycine
solution) into the prepared vial (point 14).

16. Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several

times until the tablets are dissolved.

17. Placethe vial in the sample chamber making sure that

the

marks are aligned.

18. Press

TEST

key.

Wait for a

reaction period of 2 minutes

After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.

The result is shown in the display in:
