0.05 – 1.5 mg/l CTAB
Use two clean Reagent tubes and mark one as blank for
zeroing.
1. Add 5 ml deionised water in the vial marked asblank
(this is the blank, note 6) . Do not mix contents!
2. Fill the second prepared vial with 5 ml of the water
sample (this is the sample, note 6) . Do not mix
contents!
3. Pipette 0.5 ml reagent T-1K into each vial. ( note 6)
4. Closethe vialstightly with the capsand swirl for 30 sec-
onds .
5. Press [ ] key.
Wait for a reaction period of 5 minutes .
After the reaction period is finished proceed as follows:
6. Placethe vial (the blank) in the samplechamber making
sure that the marks are aligned. (note 9)
7. Press ZERO key.
8. Removethe vial from the sample chamber.
9. Place the vial (the sample) in the sample chamber
making sure that the marks are aligned. (note 9)
10. Press TEST key.
The result is shown in the display in mg/l CTAB.
