Precautions
•
Be careful not to position the Vivo 3 in an
extra warm place, such as in direct sunlight or
above a radiator.
•
Caution should be exercised if the room tem-
perature is higher than 36°C (97°F).
The air flow for breathing produced by the
Vivo 3 can be as much as 4°C (7°F) higher
than the ambient room temperature.
•
Ventilator enclosure: 52°C NC, 53C SFC, touch
time < 1 min (NC=normal condition, SFC=
single fault condition)
•
Accessory box enclosure: 42°C NC, touch time
< 1 min
•
Y-cable box: 42°C NC, touch time < 1 min
•
Humidifier enclosure: 46°C NC, 55C SFC,
touch time < 10 min
•
Heated circuit: 42°C NC, 59C SFC, touch time
>= 10 min
Extended Operation

The Vivo 3 is operational during the extended
operation temperature for 4 hours, if:
•
The Vivo 3 is first started within the normal
operation temperature span.
•
The Vivo 3 is placed in it

s protective cover.
•
This condition happens maximum once a day.
•
The ambient air is dry and still.
WARNING!
The humidifier is heated only when the ventilator is operating on mains,
so don
’
t have the humidifier connected during mobile ventilator use.
