Two-axle mode:

Two-axis mode (only one driven axis)

Make sure that the batteries are inserted in the remote control as described in the previous 
section (Operation - Remote Control Functions)� Turn on the battery disconnect switch to supply 
power to the electronic control unit (2); a red LED lights up� Press the power button twice 
(Fig�1�A) to switch on the remote control�
On your remote control (1), press and hold the [ENG] (fi g�1�I) and [DENG] (fi g�1�J) buttons for 
one second to enter pairing mode� The indicator LED (Fig�1�B) on your remote control should 
fl ash green continuously� Press the small sync button (fi g�3) on your electronic control unit (2)� 
The LED on this box should fl ash red rapidly before making a small clicking sound� The indica-
tor LED (Fig�1�B) on your remote control should be solid green and the LED on the electronic 
control unit (2) should fl ash red slowly to indicate that the two are paired�
The remote control is in single-axis mode by default� To select dual-axis mode, press and hold 
[RL] (Fig�1�G) and [FN] (Fig�1�K) for 5 seconds� The remote beeps once to indicate that the mode 
has been set to dual axis� Once set, the remote control and the control unit remember the 
assignment and are fully functional after switching on�

AWD mode (dual axle, both driven)

To confi gure your system for AWD mode, the remote control (1) only needs to be paired with 
the electronic control unit of the front axle (2)� To do this, fi rst make sure that the data cable (4) 
is correctly connected to both control units as described in the section „Installation - Electrical/
Electronic Components (AWD Confi guration)“� Make sure that the batteries are also inserted in 
the remote control as described in the previous section (Operation - Pairing the remote control / 
Mode selection)�
Turn on the battery disconnect switch to power both control units; a red LED lights up on each 
box� Press the power button twice (Fig�1�A) to switch on the remote control�
On your remote control (1), press and hold the [ENG] (Fig�1�I) and [DENG] (Fig�1�J) buttons for 
one second to enter pairing mode� The indicator LED (Fig�1�B) on your remote control should 
fl ash green continuously� Press the small sync button (fi g�3) on the electronic control unit of 
the front axle (2)� The LED on this box should fl ash red rapidly before a small clicking sound is 
heard� The indicator LED (fi g�1�B) on your remote control should be solid green and the LED on 
the electronic control unit (2) should fl ash red slowly to indicate that it is paired�

and [FN] (fi g�1�K) buttons again for 5 seconds to select AWD mode� The remote control beeps 

OPERATION - PAIRING THE REMOTE CONTROL / MODE SELECTION

The procedure for pairing the remote control depends on the confi guration of the manoeuvring 
aid you have installed in your caravan� It is extremely important that the remote control is set 
in the correct mode to ensure that the manoeuvring aid functions as intended� With two-axle 
vehicles, for example, the turning possibilities are quite different from those of a single-axle ca-
ravan� Only if you set the manoeuvring aid correctly can you get the best possible performance 
out of it�
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the remote control (see ‚Operation - Remote con-
trol functions‘) and the structure of the electronic control unit� These must be set to both the 
correct model and mode for your axle confi guration� To set the correct model, follow the table 
below:

for 5 seconds to select single axis mode� The remote beeps once to indicate that the mode has 
been set to Single Axis� Once set, the remote control and control unit remember their assign-
ment and are fully functional after switching on�
