Indicator LEDs
Note the indicator LEDs on both your remote control and the electronic control unit(s) The
following instructions can be used as a reference:
LED-Status
Meaning
OFF
Handset is switched off or is not supplied with power
RED/GREEN Flashing An attempt is being made to connect to an existing connection
GREEN Flashing
Pairing mode, attempting to establish a new connection
Signal received, system in operation
RED Lit, fl ashing,
illuminated (accom-
panied by an alarm)
System error: During setup - The remote control was probably set
incorrectly to AWD mode (or the data cable is not connected correctly
if AWD mode was intended) During use - See system error table
Steady GREEN
Switched on and paired with the control unit
Steady RED
Remote control has been completely reset, all modes are set to default
values
Electronic control unit:
LED-Status
Meaning
OFF
Off or no power supply
Lights RED
Switched on, power is received, signal connection is expected
Fast red fl ashing
Pairing mode, trying to establish a new pairing
Slow RED fl ashing
Paired with remote control, waiting for commands
RED Steady, Flashing, Stea-

System errors
System errors can occur for various reasons Contact Berger Customer Service if errors persist
Use the table below for reference and troubleshooting
For each LED display, the errors are indicated in the following way:
Constant on Flashing up to 8 times Constant on
All system errors are accompanied by an alarm from the remote control, which goes off to-
gether with the fl ashing after about 8 seconds or until the error is corrected Various errors are
listed below:
(RED) LED Status Description
Possible cause and measure
2 Flashing
Overcurrent (motor)
Usually caused by overloading the system,
avoid excessive load or steep slopes,
check that the vehicle brakes are not
applied
Overcurrent (battery)
3 Flashing
Undervoltage
Usually caused by a weak/discharged
battery, check the voltage
4 Flashing
Overvoltage
Usually caused by an incompatible battery
or when a charging system is present
during operation
5 Flashing
Overtemperature
Usually caused by prolonged operation
with a high load
- Wait 5 minutes until the electronics have
cooled down
- Divide long trips into shorter „trips“
6 Flashing
Critical
Usually caused by a loose or dry connec-
tion in the wiring or the use of a dead
battery
- Make sure the system is switched off
and check the wiring and condition of
the terminals
- Check the condition of the battery by
appropriate means (do not rely on the
caravan‘s internal battery monitor)
8 Flashing sign
Undervoltage cut-off
Triggered if no output voltage is detected:
- Possible short circuit on the motor
- Possible failure of the control system
Switch the unit off and on again If the
problem persists, stop using it and con-
tact service@fritz-bergerde
