6.44 HTA unit (option) on center frame - Until 2014
Check the air filter daily (or more often if necessary).
Check the oil level daily.
Prevent corrosion: run the HTA compressor for at least 15 minutes every week.
Air filter elements: replace the inner element [7] and the outer element [6] every
500 operating hours. Replace the inner element and the outer element at least
1x per year.
The inner element [7] cannot be cleaned. Remove the inner element only when
you want to replace it. Clean the inside of the filter housing before you remove
the inner element.
Change the oil (

148 ) every 500 operating hours. Change the oil at least 1x
per year.
Checking the air filter:
1.
Look for dust in the transparent bowl [1]. Remove
the bowl and remove the dust if necessary.
2.
Squeeze the dust valve [2]:
•
To check if the valve is clogged. Clean the valve
if necessary.
•
To check the condition of the rubber. Replace the
valve if necessary.
3.
Look at the clogging indicator [3]. If the indicator
becomes red:
•
Remove the filter cover [5].
•
Remove the outer element [6]. Clean the element
with a blow gun (maximum 70 psi / 5 bar). Blow
out the dust from the inside to the outside. You
can clean the element 3 times before you must
replace it. Replace the element if it is damaged.
•
Place the element and the filter cover back.
•
Press the indicator [3] to reset it.
4.
Check the hose [4] for leaks. Replace the hose if
necessary.
Checking the oil level:
1.
Check the oil level with the dipstick [11].
2.
If necessary: add oil (  148 ).
Changing the oil:
1.
Remove the oil plug [9] and drain the oil.
2.
Place the oil plug back.
3.
Remove the filler cap [10].
4.
Pour 0.3 gallon
(1.2 liter)
new oil (

148 ) into the
HTA compressor [8].
5.
Check the oil level with the dipstick [11].
6.
Place the filler cap back.
