7.  Slide the deflection meter under the rudder boost 

tab. 

 

 

 

8.  Center the deflection meter on the rudder using 

the centering marks on the meter to aid with 
alignment. Bend the precut positioning tabs down 
around the fin. 

 
 
 
 

9.  Secure the tabs to the fin using scotch tape. 

10.  Degrees are measured at the tip of the boost  tab 

as shown below.
