24.3.3. –Viewing Polar Charts during Data Acquisition
During data acquisition, one of the polar charts shown below will be displayed depending on the
analyzer function being used.
Phase Angle Polar Chart Clock Angle Polar Chart
The vibration will be indicated by a circle displayed at a location on the polar that corresponds
with the “Vib” and “Phase” values under the “Average” heading. The circle will respond in real-
time as these values update.
A blue circle will be displayed when the “Vib” magnitude is below 1.00. When the “Vib”
magnitude exceeds 1.00, the circle will become red and plot on the polar chart’s outer most ring
at the averaged “Phase” angle.
Blue circle = “Vib” Magnitude below 1.00 Red circle = “Vib” Magnitude above 1.00
24.3.4. –Numerical Values
The numerical values are divided into two parts, “Current” and “Average”. See paragraph 24.2.2
above for more information.
24.3.5. –Available Function Keys
Use the [F1] “Reset” key to reset the averaged data as described in paragraph 24.2.3 above.
