9.1.5.3.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
Num Positions:
” (number of weight positions) field.
Use the numeric keypad to enter a number equal to the total number of positions
where balance weights may be attached for this balance plane only.
9.1.5.4.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
Num Usable:
” field. Use the numeric keypad to
enter a number that will define the maximum number of positions that can be used for
installing weight on a single run. The number entered is limited to half of the value in
the “Num Positions:” field plus one.
9.1.5.5.
IF “Job” or “Setup” was selected for the “
Label Detail Wts:
” field in paragraph
9.1.1.10 above, use the [
] key to move to the “Detail Reduce Usable?” This field
will let you define whether the detail weight holes reduce the number of holes usable
for trim balance. In some cases, the “Num Usable” holes, paragraph 9.1.5.4 above,
may be reduced by the presence of detail weights. In this case, enter “Yes” and the
analyzer will reduce the number of available trim balance holes by the number of
holes occupied by detail weights. If this field is set to “No”, the analyzer will not
reduce the number of available trim balance holes by the number of holes already
occupied by detail weights. For example, with this field set to “Yes”, if there are 15
Usable holes and four are already filled with detail weights, the analyzer will only
place trim balance weights in 11. With this field set to “No” the analyzer will be able
to place trim weight in all 15 usable holes. This field is only available if the “Label
Detail Wts:” field in 9.1.1.10 above is set to “Job” or “Setup”.
9.1.5.6.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
RivetWt:
” field. Use the numeric keypad to enter a
value for the weight in grams or ounces (as defined in paragraph 9.1.1.11 above) of
any attaching hardware used to secure the balance weight to the balance plane.
9.1.5.7.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
Radius
” field. This field will only appear if an
optional balance plane is identified in paragraph 9.1.1.7 above. Use the numeric
keypad to enter a value defining the radius of the weight locations on this balance
plane.
9.1.5.8.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
in/mm
” toggle field. This field is used to define the
Radius measurement and will only appear if an optional balance plane is identified in
paragraph 9.1.1.7 above. Use the [

(millimeters).
9.1.5.9.
Use the [
] key to move to the “
