3-9 – Using the Gen II Analyzer

3.4.

– Common Job Functions

NOTE

The functions listed below will apply to all job types listed on the Main Menu. The job types shown

in the screenshots below (i.e. Propeller Balance) are for reference only.

3.4.1.

– Start Job

The “Start Job” function allows the user to begin the applicable job process. There are minor
differences between each major function of the analyzer. Therefore the “Start Job” function is
outlined in each applicable chapter

3.4.2.

– Resume Job

Selecting “Resume Job” from within a Main Menu Job function displays the “Incomplete Jobs”
list. Only jobs that are left unfinished will appear in the list and will be preceded by an “I” inside
a box. Using the [



] key, highlight the job you wish to complete from the list of incomplete jobs,

and press [OK]. You will be taken to the last logical in process step completed in the job process.

NOTE

If you did not enter information in the optional “Job Identification” fields when starting a job, that

job will be stored by the name, “Unnamed”. If several “Unnamed Jobs” are listed, you may wish

to review the data for each in order to ensure you are resuming the job you intended. The right-

hand side of the screen will also display the date that the job was started to aid you in selecting

the right job to resume.
