overtemp condition can be tested. If you select this feature while using EMS Direct Connect, it will

- EXPORT LOGGER SETTINGS
The “Export Logger Settings” option allows you to set Temperature Units (either Deg F or Deg C),
the Cockpit Units (either Percent (%), RPM or Hertz) and Redundant Units (either Percent (%),
RPM or Hertz). You may also choose whether or not to include the DEEC Type in the Comments
section, (Yes or No). All settings are toggled by using the RIGHT ARROW or LEFT ARROW
keys.
12.6
– Test EMS Hardware
Selecting the Test EMS Hardware option from the Honeywell Performance screen menu will retun the
screen shown below. In that screen you will see the word “Connections” near the top of the screen.
Listed below Connections is a list, defined by the name in the left column, and the results associated with
that definition to its immediate right.
For example, in the screen below, the
“OAT:
Connected”
indicates that an Outside Air Temp cable and RTD sensor are connected to the Viper II analyzer and
operating normally. Likewise, the “Pamb: Not Connected” line directly below the OAT: line indicates
that no Ambient Pressure Sensor is detected which means it is either NOT connected or that a fault exists
in either the sensor or the connecting cable. When you have verified that all connected devices are
detected and operating normally according to this screen, press “OK” to exit the screen. Otherwise,
investigate the reason for a “Not Connected” indication relative to any connected device.
