SERVOPACK Models without a Built-In Dynamic Brake
This section describes how to use the SERVOPACKs (SGD7S-210D to 370D) that are not
equipped with a built-in dynamic brake.
5.3.1
Using the Dynamic Brake
The SGD7S-210D to 370D are not equipped with a built-in dynamic brake.
When using the SGD7S-210D to 370D, set up the SERVOPACK according to the following
flowchart.
With the SGD7S-210D to 370D, A.042 (Parameter Combination Error) will always occur when
the power supply is first turned ON. This alarm occurs because the settings for the dynamic
brake have not been configured. After you set the parameters according to the following flow-
chart, the A.042 alarm will be reset when the power supply is turned OFF and ON again.
A.042 (Parameter Combination Error) occurs.
