Ream weight
This refers to the weight of a 788 x 1,091 mm ream
consisting of 1,000 sheets.
Resolution
It refers to the image quality. It shows how many
dots can be represented in a one-inch width area
(dpi). The higher the number, the better the image
quality.
SDRAM
This is the acronym for Synchronous DRAM. It is a
dynamic random access memory device that is
much faster than the conventional DRAM in read
and write access.
SMB
This is a network communications mode for sending
data via the Windows network (Microsoft network).
It can be used on Windows 95, Window 98, and
Windows NT 4.0.
Server
On a network, the server is sued for storing data to
be used by other computers. Computers accessing
this server are called the clients
SNMP
This is the acronym for Simple Network
Management Protocol. Through the network, this
protocol manages the devices connected to the
network.
This is done on the managing side with SNMP
Manager and on the managed side with SNMP agent
software.

This refers to the action of deleting a software that
exists on the computer.
Web screen
This refers to information screen that is displayed by
the WWW browser.
WINS
This is the acronym for Windows Internet Naming
Services. This is the naming service for obtaining
the IP address from a host name in the TCP/IP
environment.
WWW
This is the acronym for World Wide Web. It is the
mechanism that provides web pages on the internet.
