4.7  When An Error Message Appears

Message

Meaning and Solution

Install magenta toner
cartridge

Close the right cover

Check the right cover and
remove paper from the
duplex tray

Close the lower right cover

The magenta toner cartridge is not installed or is not
installed correctly.

Solution

Push the magenta cartridge firmly into the
printer.

Paper jam occurred during twp-sided printing.

Solution

Open the right cover to remove the jammed
paper. If no jammed paper if found, check the
