4.8 When the Error LED is Lit or
Blinking
A red Error LED on the control panel indicates that the printer has a problem. When the
Error LED is on or is blinking while you are using the printer, refer to the following section
for the appropriate action.
4.8.1 When the Error LED is Lit
When the Error LED is on, it means a problem that can be resolved by the user such as
paper jam, has occurred.
Follow the instructions of the error message on the display panel and handle the problem
accordingly.
"4.7 When An Error Message Appears" for the meaning of the error
message and the solution.
4.8.2 When the Error LED is Blinking
When the Error LED is blinking, it means a problem that cannot be resolved by the user
has occurred. Write down the contents of the message and the message code, switch off
the printer, and contact your Xerox Customer Support Centre.
