5.1  Clearing Paper Jams

5.1.7

Paper Jams in the Paper Tray

The procedure to clear the paper jam is as follows:

Gently pull out the paper tray until it stops, and
remove the jammed or wrinkled paper.
If the paper is torn, make sure you do not leave
any pieces inside the printer.

Push down on the metal plate inside the paper
tray until it locks.

Gently push the paper tray into the printer until
it stops.

Do not push in the tray with
excessive force.
