4.7 When An Error Message Appears
Install yellow toner
cartridge.
Open and close any cover.
Paper jam.
Open the manual feed unit.
Paper jam.
Open the manual feed unit
and the lower right cover.
Paper jam.
Open the lower left cover.
The yellow toner cartridge is not installed or is not installed
correctly.
Solution
Push the yellow cartridge firmly into the printer.

An error has occurred inside the printer.
Solution
Open any cover, such as the front cover, and
then close it.
If further actions are required, the corresponding
error message will be displayed. Resolve the
problem accordingly.
Paper jams occurred near the manual feed unit when
paper is fed from tray 1 or the manual tray.
Solution
Open the manual feed unit to remove the jammed
paper. Make sure that no paper is jammed in the
manual tray or the paper tray.

Paper jam occurred inside the printer when paper is fed
from tray 2 or tray 3.
Solution
Open the manual feed unit and the lower right
cover on the right side of the tray module to
remove the jammed paper. Make sure that no
paper is jammed in the paper trays.

Paper jam occurred inside the printer during two-sided
printing.
Solution
Open the lower left cover to remove the jammed
paper. Make sure that no paper is jammed in the
paper trays.
