5.1 Clearing Paper Jams
Push the lower left unit firmly back into the
printer.
If you cannot locate the paper, perform the
procedure described in "5.1.4 Paper Jams at
the Top Left Cover".
If the duplex print module is installed, the paper
jam may have occurred inside the lower left
cover. Perform the procedure described in
"5.1.5 Paper Jams at the Lower Left Cover".
Paper Found at the Centre of the Cover
Depending on the location of the jam, clear the paper by using one of the following
methods to resolve:

If the paper is jammed as shown in Diagram A, refer to "Removing Small Sheets such
as Postcards"
•
If the paper is jammed as shown in Diagram B, refer to "Removing Paper from the
Bottom of the Lower Left Unit"
Removing Small Sheets such as Postcards
Gently hold the cover open so it does not close,
and push the paper towards the output direction
with you fingers.
