4.7 When An Error Message Appears
Install drum cartridge
Tray 1 is out of paper
Trays 1 to N are out of
paper
Load xxxx into tray N
Install tray N.
The drum cartridge is not installed or is not installed
correctly.
Solution
Push the drum cartridge firmly into the printer.

There is no paper in tray 1.
Solution
Load paper into tray 1.

There is no paper in all trays from tray 1 to tray N.
Solution
Load paper into each tray.

xxxx (media type) is not loaded in tray N, or a size
different from that specified in the printer driver is
loaded.
Solution
Load xxxx (media type) in tray N. If a wrong
size is specified on the computer, stop the
printing. Make sure that the following settings are
set correctly on the computer, and try again.
• Is the correct paper tray selected?
• Is the correct paper size specified?

Solution
Push tray N firmly into the printer.
