PREPARING THE BINDER 120 FOR ON-LINE AND OFF-LINE OPERATION

XEROX DOCUMENT BINDER 120 OPERATOR MANUAL

CAUTION:

  You must run the specified sets through the host

machine to ensure that the Output Tray of the host machine will be at
the correct position and height when aligning the Binder 120 to it.

9.

Run two two-sheet, collated sets (single or duplex) through the
host machine.

10.

Plug the Binder 120 Power Cord into the Binder 120 and into the
electrical wall outlet.

NOTE:

  Do not plug the Binder 120 Power Cord into the utility

outlet on the host machine.  The utility outlet is for service use
only.

CAUTION:

  The ends of the Interface Cable insert into the Interface

Connectors in only one direction.

11.

Insert one end of the Interface Cable into the Interface Connector
of the Binder 120 and the other end into the Interface Connector
of the host machine.

•

Align the two rows of pins on each end of the Interface Cable
with the two rows of pins on each Interface Connector.

•

Tighten the screws at the ends of each Interface Connector.
