PREPARING THE BINDER 120 FOR ON-LINE AND OFF-LINE OPERATION

XEROX DOCUMENT BINDER 120 OPERATOR MANUAL

Disconnecting from a host machine

Use this procedure to disconnect the Binder 120 from a host machine
and then prepare the Binder 120 for the stand-alone mode.

1.

For the Xerox 5800, 5890, and 5895, do the following:

•

From the Current Job Programming screen, touch the 

Full

Feature Copying

 tab.

•

Touch the 

Copy Output

 feature.

•

Touch the 

Finishing Accessories Disabled

 option.

•

Touch the 

Save

 button.

NOTE:

  You must perform the above procedure or the host

machine will display a finisher fault.

2.

Press the Binder 120 Power Switch to the Off (

O

) position.

3.

Unplug the Binder 120 Power Cord from the electrical wall outlet
and the Binder 120.

•

Set the Power Cord on top of the Binder 120.
