PREPARING THE BINDER 120 FOR ON-LINE AND OFF-LINE OPERATION

Disconnect the Interface Cable according to the instructions and
illustration for your host machine, step a, b, c or d.

NOTE:

  If you are not going to be using the Interface Cable right

away, be certain to store it in a safe place with the Binder 120.

a.

Xerox 5100:

To disconnect from a Xerox 5100, remove the Interface Cable
from the Interface Connector of the host machine and the
Binder 120.

b.

Xerox 5800 or 5895:

To disconnect from a Xerox 5800 or 5895, loosen the screws
at the ends of each Interface Connector and remove the
Interface Cable from the Interface Connector of the host
machine and the Binder 120.

c.

Xerox 5680/5892:

To disconnect from a Xerox 5680/5892, remove the Interface
Cable from the Interface Connector of the host machine and
the Binder 120.
