5.4.3
Night Scan Vertical HDT Mounting Instructions
Physically attach the system as follows:
1. If the system is to be mounted in a well, provide adequate drainage. A minimum of four 1 inch
diameter drain holes (one per corner) are recommended.
2. Drill eight 9/16 inch mounting holes into the mounting structure (Section 5.4.9, Figure 5-13).
3. Attach the mast using 9/16 inch or M14 studs or bolts (customer-provided). Torque all
hardware as appropriate for its material and size.
4. The saddle must be attached so that it is centered with the RCP and mast base tube.
Note: The mast, RCP, and control box assemblies must be installed and wired prior to power up.
Failure to do so will result in errors and could damage the unit.
