18. MOVING DISPENSE HEAD (MDH)
Feature Benefits
The moving dispense head has been designed to improve the delivery of
product into cup and reduced splashing, this is achieved by shorting the
distance between the dispense tubes and top of the cup.

Testing the Arm
To enable a test cycle for the moving dispense head to be carried out, switch to
Flush Mode and select ‘Key 9’, press once to move the arm to dispense
position, press Key 9 again to move the arm back to the home position.
Error Code
Code 30 - Dispense Arm Jam, will be displayed in the event the arm fails to
move, becomes jammed or not correctly sensed by either the home or
dispense switches during the vend cycle sequence.
Figure1 shows the layout of the parts of the moving dispense head, for part numbers
refer to the plate section at the
back of the manual
Note: The moving dispense
head is not compatible
with the FB or BTC
‘Quick Vend’ facility.
Therefore ensure the
quick vend options
addresses 095 & 096 are
set to 0
The moving dispense head feature introduced August 2005 will only operate with
software version 3.30 or later
