How to use this section
Check the error code that is displayed on your machine and look-up the
corresponding error code below. Check each of the numbered operations to
identify the problem being encountered and then use the flow chart to rectify
the fault.
Error code 11 - Cups sold out
1. Check to ensure there are cups present within the motorised cup unit.
2. Check operation of cup sense switch
With machine switched off
Remove cups from motorized cup unit to expose the ‘cup sold out’ switch.
Set your voltmeter to
measure continuity
.
Measure the continuity across pin 1
(White/Red) and pin 2 (Orange/Black)
located within the plug on the underside
of the cup unit.
Manually operate the
cup sold out switch. Is
continuity measured?
No continuity is
measured
Unplug and remove the
cup unit. Remove both
fixing screws from the
top of the unit.
Manually operate the
cup sold out switch and
measure the continuity
across the switch.
No continuity measured
– Replace switch
(P/N 100075072)
Manually operate the
index switch and
measure the continuity
at the switch.
Continuity is measured
Measure the continuity
from Pin 1 (White/Red)
to SKT 4/1 and Pin 2
(Orange/Black) to
SKT 4/7.
No continuity is
measured – locate break
in wire.
Continuity is measured.
Replace processor
board (P/N 190010)
No continuity measured
– Replace switch
(P/N 100075064)
Check wiring back to
plug
