IP DECT 6000 System Installation & Configuration Guide

12.2 Base Station

12.2.1 Changing System User Name and Password

It is possible to change the user name and password for the system from

the web interface of the Base Station.

1. Click

Configuration

, and then click

Security

2. In the

Current password

field, enter the current password.

3. In the

New username

field, enter a new username.

4. In the

New password

field, enter a new password.

5. In the

New password

again

field, re-enter the new password.

6. Uncheck the

Force secure HTTP (TLS)

checkbox.

7. Uncheck the

Allow remote logging

checkbox.

8. Click

Save

12.2.2 Reading System Information

Under Status it is possible to get general information about hardware

version, firmware and message logging. This information is useful in

case of troubleshooting.
