19.4 Operations to carry out
1 Enrol the control panel (see paragraph 120) Note: It is presumed that the comfort and intrusion detection
alarm systems have first been installed and configured for local control
2 Enable remote control of the temperature zones, to be done on the comfort control panel (see instructions
manual of the control panel)
3 Enable remote control of the scenarios, to be done on the comfort control panel (see instructions manual of
the control panel)
4 Enrol the temperature zones 1 and 2 of the control panel using the automatic procedure (recommended,
considering the system configuration), or the manual one:
- Automatic: temperature zone 1 of the control panel will be associated with “thermostat 1” (C1) of the
GSM communicator and temperature zone 2 of the control panel will be associated with “thermostat 2”
(C2) of the GSM communicator (see paragraph 1231)
- Manual: read the address of the control unit using its menu and make the association of temperature
zone 1 with “thermostat 1” and temperature zone 2 with “thermostat 2” (see paragraph 1232 in this
manual and the control panel manual)
5 Customizing the two associated thermostats with an SMS text message
By default “thermostat 1” has the label SMS “C1”, while “thermostat 2” has the label “C2” (see paragraph
1311)
6 Enrol the scenarios 1 and 2 of the control panel using the automatic procedure (recommended, considering
the system configuration) or the manual one:
- Automatic: scenario 1 of the control panel will be associated with “scenario 1” (SC1) of the communicator
and scenario 2 of the control panel will be associated with “scenario 2” (SC2) of the GSM communicator
(see paragraph 1271)
- Manual: read the address of the control unit using its menu and make the association of scenario 1 with
“scenario 1” and scenario 2 with “scenario 2” (see paragraph 1272 and the control panel manual)
7 Customizing the two associated scenarios with an SMS text message By default “scenario 1” has the label
SMS “SC1”, while “scenario 2” has the label “SC2” (see paragraph 1321)
8 Enrol groups 1 and 2 of the control panel using the manual procedure:
- read the address of the control unit and the index of group 1 and make the association of “group 1”
(GR1) of the GSM-BUS Communicator 01942, and similarly for “group 2” (GR2) (see paragraph 12111
and the control panel manual)
9 Customizing the two associated groups with an SMS text message
By default “group 1” has the label SMS “GR1”, and “group 2” has the label “GR2” (see paragraph 1351)
