14. Operation of controls
14.1 Comfort
With the GSM-BUS Communicator 01942 it is possible to control up to 40 temperature zones from a remote
location depending on the type and number of control panels in the system
The temperature zones associated with the first 8 “thermostats” (C1C8) of the GSM-BUS Communicator
01942 can be associated with SMS labels for customization, to make sending commands more user friendly In
any case, the thermostats C1C8 can always be managed with their predefined labels The “thermostats” C9
C40 can be managed via SMS solely with their predefined labels
The following commands are available for each thermostat
14.1.1 Switch-off
This is used to switch off the selected appliance (for information on the operating mode, see the control panel
instructions manual)

Send an SMS message in the form of
<user code>.C<n>.OFF
where
<n>
identifies the number of the device to configure (1,240)
This command requires an SMS confirmation message, with the following form:
GSM-BUS 1/1
C<n> OFF
Example
If the set user code is the default 1234 and you want to switch off the device C2, send the SMS:
1234.C2.OFF
The GSM Communicator will reply with the following SMS:
GSM-BUS 1/1
C2 OFF

This is used to set the manual operating mode of the chosen device (for information on the operating mode, see
the Instructions Manual of the control panel)
