13 General Configuration
13.1 Comfort
The GSM-BUS Communicator 01942 is able from a remote location to control up to 40 temperature zones,
depending on the type and number of control panels in the By-me system
The temperature zones associated with the first 8 “thermostats” (C1C8) of the GSM-BUS Communicator
01942 can be associated with SMS labels for customization, to use for sending commands In any case they
can always be managed via their own predefined label: C1C8 The thermostats C9C40 can be managed
solely via the predefined labels
After enrolment (see paragraph 123), the system makes the following configuration functions available:
13.1.1 SMS label management
This is used to associate or delete an SMS label, of at most 10 characters, with the selected timer-thermostat;
the procedure can take place with an SMS message or via EasyTool:
- send an SMS with the following form to associate the
<name>
with the device
<n>
:
<user code>.C<n>.STR.<name>
- send an SMS with the following form to restore the predefined value of the device <n>:
<user code>.C<n>.STR.0
This command does not require an SMS confirmation message.
Example
If the set user code is the default 1234 and you want to associate the name “DayZone” with timer-thermostat
1, send the SMS:
1234.C1.STR.DayZone
To delete the previously associated name, send the SMS:
1234.C1.STR.0
13.1.2 Setting temperature levels
This is used to set the temperature levels T1, T2, T3 of the chosen timer-thermostat (for information on the
operating mode and setting range of the temperature levels, see the Instructions Manual of the By-me system)
