13.3.2 Reading last scan data
This is used to read the information of non-operating devices that the control panel detected during the last
scan (refer to the instructions manual of the control panel)
•
Send an SMS message in the form of
<user code>.SYS<n>.?SCAN
where
<n>
is the index of the system associated with the control panel to query
The communicator will send the following SMS:
GSM-BUS 1/1
<non-operating device physical address>:
<device type> <date> <error type>
...

13.3.3 Starting diagnostics scanning
This is used to start the procedure of diagnostics scanning on the specified control panel To read the scan
result you need to use the reading procedures described in paragraphs 1331 and 1332 (For a complete
description of the diagnostics functions of the control panel, please refer to the relevant instructions manual)

Send an SMS message in the form of
<user code>.SYS<n>.SCAN
where
<n>
is the index of the system associated with the control panel to query
This command does not require an SMS confirmation message
Example
If the set user code is the default 1234 and you want to start diagnostic scanning on the SYS1 system, send
the SMS:
1234.SYS1.SCAN

The length of the scan depends on the number of devices in the system To complete the diagnostic cycle it
is recommended to wait at least five minutes
